“I’m drawn to materials, structure, colour, texture, dynamics, tension, shades of light and contrast: I take all of these aspects and mould them into an image. Some things I experience I am unable to express in words, only in images. The image must evoke a primal feeling in me, a confrontation with the self. Visualization as the archetype. If I were to describe my work it would be a demonstration of light an everything that evolves around it.”
